If you wish to operate a truck in the Netherlands professionally, you must follow a course with code 95 (initial qualification, kwalifikacja Wstepna). This training is completed with a governmental test.

The municipality must then renew the code 95 designation on your Dutch driving license.
Exams
As per directive 2003/59/EC bus drivers (categories D1, D1E, D) or truck, tractor trailer or commercial vehicle drivers (categories C1, C1E, C1, CE) who carry out transport services on a regular basis must undergo the training of Code 95. After the training course of 35 lectures is finalised and the certificate or license of Code 95 is issued which is valid for 5 years. This permits drivers to operate commercially within the European Union for both goods and passengers.
